Our innovative glass entrance product, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR10SSB58C), uses the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for commercial and architectural glass doors, this system secures monolithic tempered glass from the bottom using two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail to generate very high clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail), providing exceptional hold for 5/8" (16 mm) glass and other supported glass thicknesses.

After installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt locks the slide; the outer bolts adjust the slide ±1/8" (3 mm). Closer arms and floor or overhead pivots must be ordered separately. Models with locks ship with the lock mechanism installed; keyed cylinders or thumbturns are sold separately.
