Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, features the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 & 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This engineered door rail for 5/8" glass uses two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar that, when tensioned with socket head cap bolts, creates a powerful wedge action. In the 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail this generates over 900 lbs. of holding force — delivering reliable, long-lasting glass retention in commercial storefronts and interior glass doors.

Installation notes: after rail installation attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable alignment slide already assembled in the rail. To fine-tune after hanging, remove the end cap to access the three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the outer bolts provide the ±1/8" adjustment. The low-profile slide allows pivot placement beyond the American Standard setback for out-of-square openings.

Ordering & specifications:

• Models accept 3/8" to 3/4" (10–19 mm) glass; custom lengths available — specify finished rail length including end caps
• All rails include the Kwik-Adjust™ Pivot Alignment System; closer arms and floor/overhead pivots ordered separately
• Models with locks ship with the lock mechanism installed; keyed cylinders or thumbturns ordered separately
• Built-in jamb alignment block standard; arms and pivots must be ordered to suit job requirements
