An innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR6SSB12C) uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) to clamp and secure glass with wedge pressure from the bottom rail. Two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar are drawn down with socket head cap bolts into an angled groove, producing high clamping force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail). This design delivers exceptional retention for glass door applications and fast field installation for frameless and semi-framed glass doors.

The Wedge-Lock® system provides fast installation—experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes—and ships completely fabricated with End Caps installed. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the assembled adjustable door alignment slide. The Adjustable Door Alignment System allows +/- 1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb on both top and bottom rails without removing the door.

Access the three socket head cap bolts by removing the End Cap: the center bolt locks the adjustable slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out. The low-profile slide lets pivots with slotted grooves be positioned off the American Standard Setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling installation in vertically out-of-square openings.
