CRL Senior Cardiff Series Top and Bottom Mount Pivot Hinges are engineered for 1/2" (12 mm) tempered safety glass and are commonly used as tempered shower door pivot hinges and commercial/residential glass door pivots. These top-and-bottom pivot hinges carry most of the door weight on the bottom hinge and can be inset from the door edge to provide clearance for towel bars or other projections.

Senior Cardiff hinges are self-centering with four strong springs for maximum retention strength and consistent closing performance. The hinge adapts to CRL's Deluxe Header System using the Senior Adapter Block (SRHAB01 — sold separately) for enclosures that do not reach the ceiling; alternatively, the hinges can be floor-and-ceiling mounted for full-height doors.

Performance: Using two hinges with 1/2" (12 mm) glass, the pair will hold up to 145 lbs. (66 kg) with a maximum door width of 36" (914 mm). Ideal for heavy glass shower doors and other tempered glass swing doors.
