CRL Senior Cardiff Series Top and Bottom Mount Pivot Hinges are engineered for 1/2" (12 mm) tempered safety glass and optimized for shower door applications. These top-and-bottom pivot hinges carry the majority of the door weight on the bottom hinge and can be inset from the door edge to provide clearance for towel bars and other projections—making them a practical choice for frameless shower enclosures and heavy glass shower doors.

Senior Cardiff hinges are self-centering with four strong springs for maximum retention strength and full rotation swing. The heavier Cardiff design accommodates larger glass panels while reducing the need for extensive glass cut-outs compared to side-mount glass-to-glass hinges.

Using two hinges with 1/2" (12 mm) glass, the assembly will hold up to 145 lbs. (66 kg) with a maximum door width of 36" (914 mm).
