The Strengthened Glass Detector (SG2700) is a portable, battery‑powered heat strengthened glass detector and portable glass stress tester designed to confirm whether glass has been heat strengthened. Test single panes or multiple panes in a window from one side — in the factory or in the field. Simply slide the meter across the glass and watch the surface reflections change color as the meter crosses stress lines caused by the strengthening process.
