Overview
- 1-3/4" x 4-1/2" (44.5 x 114.3 mm) transom frame with JH475 tubular jambs — durable aluminum transom frame construction
- 39-1/2" x 126" (1.0 x 3.2 m) base frame size (outside dimensions)
- 36" x 84" (0.9 x 2.1 m) door opening for a standard 36" x 84" butt hinge door
- Aluminum threshold included — ideal for commercial and residential door openings
Complete frame (SKU: FD31552) is engineered to accept a 36" x 84" butt hinge door with a surface mount closer. Constructed with JH475 tubular jambs and JS467 header, the frame includes door stops, weatherstrip, standard hardware, and hardware preparations for faster installation. All fasteners and hardware fabrication for frame assembly are provided; customer supplies fasteners to secure the frame to the opening.
Note: Frame widths under 39-1/2" (1.0 m) may not meet A.D.A. clearance requirements. This aluminum transom frame is a reliable option for storefronts, interior commercial doors, and exterior applications where a robust tubular jamb and aluminum threshold are required.
