This Custom Double Transom Door Frame (SKU: 0P62511) is engineered for hurricane impact applications and built to accommodate a pair of butt-hinged CVR impact doors using 9/16" (14 mm) laminated impact glazing. Constructed from IG526 door jambs with IG567/IG563 header and IG526/IG100 transom header components, it accepts surface-mount closers and includes TH811 air threshold. Hardware preparations include provisions for a 1-1/2" pair of butt hinges and a standard CVR panic strike—ideal for coastal and high-wind installations requiring certified hurricane impact door frames and transom systems.
