This Custom Double Transom Door Frame is engineered for hurricane impact door applications and built to accept a pair of butt-hinged impact doors using 9/16" (14 mm) laminated impact glazing. Constructed with durable IG526 door jambs, IG567/IG563 header, IG526/IG100 transom header, and TH811 air threshold. Hardware prep includes 1-1/2" pair butt hinge preparation and standard flush-bolts strike cutouts—designed to simplify installation of surface-mount closers and impact-rated door systems.
