This Custom Double Transom Door Frame (SKU: 0F62571) is engineered for hurricane impact performance and is designed to accept a pair of butt-hinged impact doors using 9/16" (14 mm) laminated impact glazing. Constructed with IG526 door jambs, IG567/IG563 header, IG526/IG100 transom header, and TH811 air threshold, the frame includes hardware preparations for 1-1/2" pair butt hinges and standard flush-bolts. Ideal as a hurricane impact door frame for storefronts, coastal buildings, and high-wind regions, this butt hinged transom frame emphasizes durability, code-conscious preparation, and threshold options for air and water resistance.
