This Custom Transom Door Frame (SKU: 0P62852) is engineered for hurricane impact door installations and built to accommodate a pair of geared-hinged CVR panic hurricane impact doors using 9/16" (14 mm) laminated impact glazing. Designed for surface-mount closers, the frame is constructed with IG526 door jambs, IG526/IG100 header, IG046/IG047 with NP801 door stop, IG567/IG563 header, IG2526 transom header, and TH811 air threshold. Hardware preparations include geared hinges and standard CVR strike. Ideal for coastal and high-wind applications where hurricane-rated, geared-hinged transom frames and laminated impact glazing are required.
