This Custom Double Transom Door Frame (SKU: 0F92571) is built to accommodate a pair of butt-hinged hurricane impact doors using 1-5/16" (33 mm) laminated impact glazing. Designed for surface-mount closers, the frame is constructed from IG626/IG146/IG147 door jambs, IG667 with seal IG663 header, IG626 transom header, and TH811 air threshold. Hardware preparations include provision for 1-1/2" pair of butt hinges and a standard flush-bolt strike. This transom door frame is ideal for commercial and residential hurricane impact installations requiring durable, prepped aluminum framing and air-resistant threshold options.
