This Custom Transom Door Frame (SKU: 0F91871) is engineered for a single geared-hinged hurricane impact door using 1-5/16" (33 mm) laminated impact glazing and a surface-mount closer. Constructed from IG626 door jambs, IG147/IG146 door stops, IG667/IG663 header, IG626 transom header, and TH811 air threshold. Hardware preparations include geared hinge reinforcement and standard deadbolt strike cutouts. Ideal for coastal and hurricane-prone installations seeking a durable, code-ready transom frame solution with air-resistant threshold options and compatibility with surface closers.
