This Custom Single Transom Door Frame is engineered for a single butt-hinged hurricane impact door using 1-5/16" (33 mm) laminated impact glazing. Constructed with IG626/IG146/IG147 door jambs, IG667 header with seal IG663, IG626 transom header, and TH811 air threshold for improved wind-driven rain performance. Hardware preparations include provisions for a 1-1/2" pair of butt hinges and a standard deadbolt strike—ideal for coastal and high-wind applications requiring a robust, code-ready hurricane impact door frame.
