This Custom Double Transom Door Frame is engineered for pairs of butt-hinged hurricane impact doors using 1-5/16" (33 mm) laminated impact glazing. Constructed with IG626/IG146/IG147 door jambs, IG667 header with seal IG663, IG626 transom header, and TH811 air threshold. Hardware preparations include provisions for a 1-1/2" pair of butt hinges and a standard CVR panic strike—ideal for commercial and coastal hurricane impact installations where air-resistant performance and code-ready prep matter.
