Overview

  • 2" x 4-1/2" (50.8 x 114.3 mm) transom frame with open back jambs — ideal for retrofit and new-construction openings
  • Custom size available to match non-standard openings (SKU: 1B91452)
  • Aluminum threshold included for a complete, weather-resistant sill solution

Complete Frame is configured to accept a base 36" x 84" butt-hinge 1-3/4" door and supports a 105º overhead concealed closer with offset arm. Constructed with 1T442 open back jambs and a 1450 header, the frame includes DS051 door stops for 1-3/4" doors, full weatherstrip, standard hardware and hardware preparations for fast, on-site installation.

All fasteners for frame assembly, standard hardware, and hardware fabrication are included; customer supplies fasteners to attach the frame to the opening. Note: frame widths under 40" (1.0 m) may not meet A.D.A. inspection requirements. This transom frame with open back jambs is suited for commercial doors, storefronts, and ADA-aware projects.
