CRL Cardiff Series Pivot Hinges (SKU: CAR01ULBR) are engineered for 5/16" (8 mm) to 3/8" (10 mm) tempered safety glass and offer versatile installation options for shower enclosures. These top-and-bottom mount pivot hinges carry most of the door weight at the bottom and can be inset from the wall to provide clearance for towel bars and other projections. Self-centering with four springs for strong retention, the Cardiff Series supports typical residential and hotel shower doors. Optional 5º pre-set pivot pin sets (sold separately) let you alter the closing position by 5º. The series adapts to the Deluxe Header System for enclosures that don’t reach the ceiling (HAB01 adaptor block sold separately).


NOTE: Optional 5º Pivot Pin Set (for Cardiff, Prima, Rondo, and Shell Series) — Sold as a set of two (top and bottom). May be installed before or retrofitted after hinge installation. Not included with hinge purchase.

Capacity with Two Hinges: With 5/16" or 3/8" glass (8 or 10 mm), two hinges support up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with a maximum door width of 31" (787 mm).
