This CRL V-Notch Cutter (SKU: VNT306) is the quickest, safest tool for trimming cartridge nozzles to create consistent V-notches for urethane beads. Designed for professional sealant and adhesive applications, the cutter features tempered steel jaws, a spring-loaded handle with non-slip grips, and a thumb-controlled jaw lock for repeatable, accurate cuts.


Usage: Trim the nozzle tip with a utility knife to form a 1/4" (6.4 mm) or larger bead. Insert the pre-cut nozzle into the CRL V-Notch Cutter, squeeze the handle, and produce a precise V-notch instantly. For proper bead compression, set the notch height by resting the pre-cut nozzle on the pinchweld, mark the body panel height on the nozzle, then trim to that mark.
