CRL Water Clear Silicone Sealant (SKU: WCS1) is an optically clear, acetic-cure, 100% silicone that cures with atmospheric moisture to form a durable, flexible silicone rubber. Its exceptional weatherability preserves clarity and performance after years of exposure—making it a top choice for glazing, frameless shower enclosures, curtainwalls, and other glass, plastic, and metal assemblies.

Basic Uses
Water Clear Silicone Sealant is formulated for building construction glazing and sealing applications, including butt and lap shear joints, curtainwall projections, and specialty glass assemblies. Its water-clear formulation is especially suited to frameless shower enclosures and visible glass-to-glass joints. It adheres to clean metal, glass, most woods, silicone resin, ceramic, fibers, and most painted surfaces. Packaged in two sizes of heavy plastic cartridges with removable, reusable screw-on nozzles and caps for convenience and reduced waste. Tack-free time approximately 10 minutes; five-fluid-ounce cartridge available for single-use jobs.

Important Note
Exceptional clarity will not hide application or tooling errors. Small bubbles may form during curing—plan appearance tolerances and potential repairs accordingly (limited to sight lines). Not recommended for glazing or edge-sealing insulated glass or for use on copper, brass, magnesium, zinc, or galvanized surfaces. WCS1 is not mildew resistant.
