CRL Water Spot Remover is an acid-based, professional-grade water spot remover for glass formulated for window cleaning contractors and glazing professionals. It dissolves and prevents redeposit of mineral and chemical deposits that cause hazy, cloudy or etched-looking glass from hard water stains, acid rain, auto exhaust and corrosive contaminants. Because it penetrates rough pits and ridges in uncoated glass, it restores optical clarity on Stage I corrosion but will not repair glass with Stage II corrosion.


Stage I Corrosion: light corrosion with little or no permanent glass damage. Stage II Corrosion: deposits have begun to alter the molecular structure of the glass (etching/white haze) and cannot be repaired by this product. CRL Water Spot Remover is intended only for Stage I restoration.

Usage & Limitations:

For use only by glazing professionals and commercial window cleaners. Not recommended for consumer use, automotive glass, or coated/chemically treated glass (including self-cleaning glass).
