CRL DC54 Size 4 Surface Mount Door Closer (SKU: DC54) — a versatile surface-mounted door closer designed for most commercial applications and suitable for residential retrofit work. The Size 4 spring covers interior doors up to 48" (122 mm) and exterior doors up to 42" (107 mm), with applicable door weights between 143 and 187 lbs. (65 and 85 kg). This model includes an adjustable back check to protect doors and hardware from wind or violent opening cycles.

Both closing and latching speeds are independently adjustable for smooth, controlled operation. Each closer ships with a Parallel Arm Bracket and mounting hardware to enable universal installation: regular, top-jamb, or parallel arm. All CRL Surface Mounted Closers are UL listed and come with a 10-year warranty.

Optional accessories for special installations include Drop Plates and Hold Open Arms.
