CRL Dow Corning 999-A (SKU: 999AW) is a one-part acetic-cure silicone sealant that cures with atmospheric moisture to form a durable, flexible wet-glazing and curtainwall seal. Ideal for conventional glazing of glass and plastic, curtainwall sealing, solar panel installations, and replacement glazing where a high-modulus, long-lasting silicone seal is required.


Basic Uses
Dow Corning 999-A is formulated for building construction glazing tasks, including butt and lap shear joints, sealing curtainwall projections, and joining glass, plastic, and metal assemblies. It is also suitable for general construction sealing applications where a non-structural silicone sealant is specified.

Meets or exceeds: Federal Specifications TT-S-001543A (COM-NBS) Class A and TT-S-00230C (COM-NBS) Class A for one-component silicone building sealants; ASTM C-920; Canadian Specification CAN2-19.13-M82 — making it a compliant choice for commercial glazing projects.

Limitations
