CRL White Wood Shims are precision-cut from northern white woods and bundled for convenient on-the-job use. CRL Cedar Shims are made from kiln-dried western red or white cedar—offering cleaner snaps and improved durability compared with inland cedar. These kiln-dried, termite-resistant cedar shims are well suited for outdoor applications such as shimming between a concrete pad and a treated plate and are often specified in termite-prone climates. Use these wood shims for leveling door and window frames, cabinets, appliances, or for light-duty tasks like stirring paints, spreading mastics, and setting glazing. Long-tail uses: wood shims for windows and doors, kiln-dried cedar shims for exterior use, northern white wood shims for interior leveling.
