This CRL Z-Series Square Type Flat Base Glass Clamp (SKU: Z912PS) secures 1/2" (12 mm) glass and is constructed in zinc or stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance. These low-profile square glass clamps are designed for partitions, railings, windbreaks and other architectural glass applications where a flat-base clamp is required.

For securing the clamp to thin wall tubing (less than 1/8”), use CRL’s ZB0LT Socket Head Cap Bolt and ZRNUT Rivet-Nut. Drill a 17/32” (13.5 mm) hole, then install the rivet-nut with the 34604 Heavy-Duty Thread Insert tool and 34618 5/16” mandrel and nosepiece.

NOTE: A 9/16" (14.3 mm) hole is required when using the included steel pin for additional glass support.

Glass Fabrication Guidance:

• For 1/4" (6 mm), 5/16" (8 mm), and 3/8" (10 mm) glass: 1/2" (12 mm) diameter hole required when using steel pin for support.
• For 1/2" (12 mm) glass: 9/16" (14.3 mm) diameter hole required when using steel pin for support.

Product Warning:
CRL recommends pinning each glass panel for interior and exterior installations when the bottom edge does not fully support the glass to prevent panel slippage. Rubber gaskets and steel pins are provided with each clamp.
