Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2, Canadian Patent 2,419,706, and European Patent No. EP 1 404 939 B1). This wedge-action system secures the glass by applying downward pressure via two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. The angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the door rail so the wedge action pulls the retainers together, creating high retention force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail). This design delivers reliable, secure attachment for glass doors and is a key differentiator for Wedge-Lock® door rails in commercial glass door hardware.

The Wedge-Lock® system also reduces installation time—experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After installation, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The built-in Adjustable Door Alignment System lets you fine-tune the door 1/8" (3.2 mm) toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. This adjustability is standard on both top and bottom rails and supports non-standard setback conditions and vertically out-of-square openings.

Installation and adjustment are simple: remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts—center bolt secures the slide, outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out. The low-profile slide accommodates pivots with slotted grooves for flexibility in field conditions.
