Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4SPB58P) features the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 & 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for tempered glass doors and frameless glass entryways, the system secures glass by applying downward pressure via two aluminum retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions lock together in the door rail groove to create exceptional clamping force — proven to exceed 900 lbs. in a 9" corner rail. Imagine the holding power in full-length door rails used for commercial glass doors and storefront entrances.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers faster installations for glass door rails and frameless door assemblies. Experienced installers can prep a door for installation in under ten minutes. Rails arrive fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The Adjustable Door Alignment System allows +/-1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door—standard on both top and bottom rails. To access adjustments after installation, remove the end cap to reveal three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts allow the 1/8" in/out adjustment. The low-profile slide accommodates pivots with slotted grooves and can be fabricated for vertically out-of-square openings.
