Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, is a commercial glass door rail system engineered for secure, fast installation and long-term performance. The exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) secures glass by applying downward pressure via two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, angled wedges in the rail force the extrusions together—creating exceptional clamping force (more than 900 lbs. in our 9" Corner Rail) for secure attachment of tempered glass in commercial storefronts and interior glass doors.

The Wedge-Lock® system provides the fastest installation time among door rail systems. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship completely fabricated and ready-to-install with End Caps installed. After rail installation, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The Adjustable Door Alignment System allows up to 1/8" (3.2 mm) of field adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door—standard on both top and bottom rails. To access adjustments after installation, remove the End Cap to reveal three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out. The low-profile slide and slotted pivot grooves permit non-standard setback fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
