This Rixson® Model 27 Offset Floor Mounted Door Closer (SKU: PH2790SH0LH85) is a heavy-duty offset floor closer engineered for high-traffic exterior and interior doors. The bottom arm connects directly to the floor closer spindle, transferring door weight to the closer and delivering superior closing efficiency compared to surface or overhead concealed closers. It supports doors up to 450 lbs. (204 kg) and 48" (1.22 m) wide.

Standard features include selective on/off hold open, a built-in positive dead stop, and separate independent valves for closing, latching and backcheck adjustments—ideal for commercial, heavy-duty, and ADA-related door control applications.

ADA Compliance: Although A.D.A. Series door closers meet A.D.A. specified opening force criteria, site conditions and door size may require additional spring power; ADA-compliant setting does not guarantee adequate closing force in every installation.
