This Rixson® Model 28 Center-Hung Floor Mounted Door Closer (SKU: PH28105SH0LH85) is a heavy-duty center-hung floor closer engineered for maximum closing efficiency on high-traffic or heavy doors. The door weight is supported by the bottom arm directly connected to the floor closer spindle, delivering greater closing force and reliability than surface or overhead concealed closers. Ideal long-tail use cases: center-hung floor mounted door closer for heavy exterior doors, ADA-compatible floor closer for 48" doors, and commercial center-hung closer for 350 lb doors.

Standard features include selective on/off hold-open, built-in positive dead stop, and separate independent valves for closing, latching and backcheck adjustments.

NOTE: While A.D.A. Series door closers meet A.D.A. specified opening force limits, they may not provide sufficient spring power to control and close some doors depending on site conditions and door size.
