These floor mounted door closers provide superior mechanical control with an 85% closing‑force to opening‑force ratio, enabling lighter opening forces while maintaining positive control of the door. Because the bottom arm supports the door weight and connects directly to the closer spindle, these closers are built for high‑traffic openings and heavier-than-average doors — ideal when you need a heavy-duty floor closer for exterior or interior commercial doors.

Rixson® floor closers available from CRL include selective hold open, built‑in positive dead stop, and adjustable hydraulic backcheck. Other optional features, finishes, and accessories are available upon request.
