Our innovative glass entrance product, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, is a patented door rail designed for tempered glass doors and frameless glass entrances. The exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) secures the glass by applying downward pressure using two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel pull bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts the angled wedge in the rail pulls the extrusions together, producing exceptionally high glass retention force (more than 900 lbs. in our 9" / 228.6 mm corner rail) — delivering industry-leading strength for commercial glass doors.

Installation & adjustment overview:

• After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the pre-assembled adjustable alignment slide
• To fine-adjust after hanging the door, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: center bolt secures the slide, outer bolts adjust the slide ±1/8" (3.2 mm)
• Low-profile slide allows pivot placement other than the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm) and accommodates vertically out-of-square openings
