CRL Low Profile Door Rail is a compact, ready-to-install door rail engineered for 3/8" (10 mm) monolithic tempered glass. Measuring only 2-5/16" (59 mm) high by 1-1/2" (38 mm) wide, the rail incorporates the patented Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) for fast, secure attachment to glass. Rails ship complete with end caps, installation instructions and adjustment wrenches.

Operation & maintenance

After installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt locks the adjustable slide, and the two outer bolts provide ±1/8" (3 mm) fine adjustment. Arms and pivots are sold separately to meet specific job requirements; pivot inserts 1NT701, 1NT703 and 1NT704 are available for overhead or floor closers.

Finishes & ordering

Available in standard architectural finishes and can be quoted in custom finishes and widths. Models with locks ship with the latch mechanism installed; matching keyed cylinders or thumbturns must be ordered separately. End caps included in stock lengths; specify total rail length (including end caps) for custom lengths.
