Warranty Policy
Terms of Acceptance
The purchaser agrees to accept all shipments with the clear understanding that Canada Wide Hardware’s liability shall not exceed the invoice value of the merchandise shipped.
Guarantees and Warranties
Canada Wide Hardware is committed to offering quality merchandise sourced from reputable manufacturers. These manufacturers provide their own guarantees and warranties and typically do not authorize distributors to issue adjustments, replacements, or accept returns or exchanges of defective or unsatisfactory items without prior written consent. For any questions regarding the warranty or guarantee of a specific product, please contact Canada Wide Hardware Customer Service—we’re happy to assist you.
Limitation of Warranties
All Canada Wide Hardware products and materials are sold under the terms and conditions outlined in our official publications. Statements, technical information, and product recommendations are based on tests and data believed to be reliable; however, Canada Wide Hardware does not guarantee or warrant their accuracy or completeness.
Certain finishes—such as Oil Rubbed Bronze—are designed to evolve with time and use, and may wear or change in appearance. These natural changes are not considered manufacturing defects and are therefore not covered by warranty.
Determining the suitability of any Canada Wide Hardware product or material for a specific application is solely the responsibility of the user. The user assumes all risk and liability associated with the use—or inability to use—any such product or material.
Canada Wide Hardware’s warranty is limited exclusively to the replacement of, or at its sole discretion, the refund of the purchase price for any product or material proven to be defective in material or workmanship upon inspection within thirty (20) days of receipt. No salesperson, agent, employee, or representative of Canada Wide Hardware is authorized to modify or extend the terms of this warranty.
Under no circumstances shall Canada Wide Hardware be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages or losses, including but not limited to lost profits, lost revenue, economic losses, or loss of use—whether under statutory law or based on contract or tort claims.
No other agreements, understandings, representations, or warranties—express or implied, including those regarding merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose—shall apply unless specifically stated herein.
