The 4612 Power Transfer Device is a specialized component designed to route electrical wiring from a door frame into the door itself. This device is typically used in applications requiring electrical connections for locks, exit devices, and other door hardware, providing a secure, discreet solution to power these devices while maintaining the integrity and aesthetics of the door. Not compatible with center-pivot doors. Its design ensures the wiring is hidden and secure, preventing any disruption in the door’s operation while still allowing the necessary electrical connections to be made. Works with doors that are hung with butt-type hinges, including continuous hinges or doors with pivots offset by 3/4" (19.1 mm) or less.
