These CRL Overhead Door Closer Kits (SKU: CRL8970S) include a Medium spring-size door closer, mounting clips, a Type "S" side-load arm, and either a "DP" adjustable dual-purpose bottom pivot set or a "GE" bottom pivot set. The closer features independent dual-action valves for separate closing and latching speed adjustment. Available in both 90° and 105° hold-open or no-hold-open models. Door closer bodies fit into standard 1-3/4" x 4" (44 x 102 mm) or larger extrusions. Additional spring sizes, hardware options, and concealed overhead accessories are available to match specific storefront or commercial door applications.

Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-critical valve control allows independent adjustment of closing speed and latching speed for precise door control.

Special Retaining Rings
Retaining rings prevent the adjustment valve screws from being backed completely out of the door closer body for enhanced durability.

NOTE: An auxiliary floor or overhead door stop is recommended to prevent damage to the door closer and entryway from over-extension of maximum allowable door swing.

NOTE: Although A.D.A. Series door closers comply with A.D.A. specified opening forces, varying site conditions and door size may affect spring power and closing performance.
