CRL Kwixset® Expanding Cement (SKU: KWX25) is a gray, hydraulic expanding cement formulated for exceptional strength and long-lasting bond. When mixed with water it pours smoothly and sets quickly—ideal as an expanding cement for setting stanchions, railings, brackets and other fixtures where a fast, non-shrinking, waterproof bond is required for interior or exterior applications.

Kwixset® is not affected by standing water, making it suitable as a waterproof expanding cement for outdoor use. It resists shrinkage and cracking when used as directed. Both package sizes set within 15–20 minutes and develop high compression strengths when fully cured.

Compression Strengths:
1 Hour: 4,600 psi
24 Hours: 5,000 psi
7 Days: 8,000 psi

Volume Calculations:
1 lb. Kwixset® yields 18.75 cubic inches.
92 lb. Kwixset® yields one cubic foot.

Mixing Instructions: For a fluid pouring consistency use 4-1/2 oz. of water per pound of cement (1-1/2 pints for 5 lb.). Measure water and cement accurately for best results.

Installation Notes & Compatibility:
• Installation temperatures must be higher than 40°F (4°C).
• Kwixset® can be used down to 40°F (4°C) if mixed and handled properly.
• When using Kwixset® with aluminum, the aluminum should be anodized or painted—Kwixset® can react with raw aluminum, especially outdoors.
