CRL Loctite® Prism 3g Medium Viscosity Fast-Setting Instant Adhesive

Use CRL Loctite® Prism™ (SKU 40104) where instant adhesives fail. This fast curing gel adhesive is formulated for hard-to-bond and lightweight composite materials as well as porous substrates. Prism™ outperforms typical cyanoacrylates on wood, leather, ceramic, paper, foam, rubber, fabric, metal, plastic and other elastomeric materials. It even bonds acidic surfaces such as freshly plated or coated metal parts.

Prism™ is available in two gel formulas to suit common bonding needs: 401 gel — a medium-viscosity adhesive for general applications, and 454 gel — a high-viscosity formula designed for vertical surfaces and situations where run-off is a concern. Both formulas are clear, 100% solids. Cure speed depends on bond-line gap; thinner bond lines cure faster. Typical coverage: one drop spreads to about one square inch.

Apply firm hand pressure to mated surfaces until the adhesive sets. Thinner bond lines produce faster set times and stronger bonds. Excess adhesive can be removed with acetone.
