These CRL Vacuum Brazed Dry Core Drill Bits (SKU: QCS5MM) are designed for dry drilling of hard surfaces such as porcelain tile, marble, slate, ceramics, and concrete. The vacuum-brazed cutting edge provides fast, consistent cuts while the built-in wax lubricant reduces heat buildup and prolongs bit life. The quick-change hex shank improves bit retention and speeds tool changes—ideal for contractors and tile installers using corded or rechargeable drills with driver chucks.
Recommended technique: start at a 45° angle to score the surface, then bring the drill to 90° as the hole forms. Do not use hammer-drill mode.
