The CRL K.D.T Sliding Screen Door Kit is designed for durability and ease of installation. It features 2" (51 mm) wide extruded aluminum frame members with a .043" (1.1 mm) wall thickness for superior strength. The kit comes with pre-mitered top and bottom rails, and the roller and corner pieces are pre-installed, making assembly quick and efficient. The door width is fixed, ensuring a precise fit for standard openings.
It includes 1-3/8" (35.2 mm) diameter steel ball bearing rollers that attach easily to the glass-filled nylon corners, ensuring smooth sliding action. The roller adjustment screw is conveniently hidden on the edge of the door for a sleek appearance. A universal plastic pull handle with a steel latch hook is provided, which locks securely into the included diecast keeper for added security. Our new series design features a vinyl bug strip with a t-slot edge design for easier slippage into the frame extrusion. The recommended retainer spline size is .135", and both vinyl and foam core spline types can be used to secure the screen mesh (mesh not included).

Product Warning
This new kit has top and bottom rails 1/2"" (12.7 mm) longer than the standard door width (a 36"" door will measure 36-1/2"" wide). Also, the door roller slot has been widened to be adjusted from 36-1/2"" to 35-1/2"". It is important to remember that both ends of the door rails should be cut no more than 1/2""., allowing for 1"" of adjustability
