Overview
This CRL Commercial Heavy-Duty Automatic Door Bottom is expertly crafted for mortise applications and can be shortened by up to 2 inches (51 mm) to perfectly fit your needs.
Designed to be mortised into the door's base, it features a mechanically actuated internal carrier bar with a vinyl insert, ensuring a tight seal between the door bottom and the threshold, ideal for carpeted interiors.
Supplied with a frame "actuator" protector plate, this door bottom is field reversible for either "hand" of door, providing flexibility and convenience.
For optimal performance, installation is necessary as hand testing only partially engages the mechanism; once installed, adjustments can be made to increase seal pressure effectively.
