CRL 3M® Fire Barrier Sealant (SKU: CP25WB) is a premium, water-based intumescent latex sealant that delivers reliable fire performance with a non-halogen formula. The intumescent action expands when heated, helping to close penetrations as cable and pipe insulation burns away. Effective firestopping can be achieved with as little as 1/2" (13 mm). Bonds to concrete, metal, wood and cable jacketing. No mixing required; dries tack-free in approximately 10–15 minutes and is paintable after a 72-hour cure. Minimal quantity required to fill voids—ideal as a paintable, water-based firestop caulk for cable and pipe penetrations.
