The CRL Adjustable Spring Power Overhead Concealed Door Closer (SKU: CRL8760S) is a concealed overhead door closer designed to meet A.D.A. opening force requirements. Available as a body-only retrofit with mounting clips or as complete packages that include the closer body, mounting clips, Type S side-load arm or Type A end-load arm, and a DP-adjustable dual-purpose bottom pivot set or GE-pivot set. Features independent dual-action valves for separate closing and latching speed control. Models offered with 90Β° and 105Β° hold-open or no hold-open. Body fits standard 1-3/4" x 4" (44 x 102 mm) or larger extrusions. Closer bodies are compatible with different spring sizes and hardware options to suit site needs.
Adjustable Spring Power
Adjust spring tension from a minimum of 8-1/2 lbs. opening force up to a medium spring size to accommodate site conditionsβuseful when installing an ADA door closer or an adjustable spring power concealed closer.
Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-critical valves independently adjust closing speed and latching speed for precise control on heavy traffic doors.
Special Retaining Rings
Retaining rings prevent valve screws from being backed completely out of the door closer body, reducing maintenance issues.
Note: An auxiliary floor or overhead door stop is recommended to prevent damage from over-extension of the door swing.
Product Warning:
Closers set to comply with A.D.A. specified opening forces may not provide adequate spring power to control and close the door under all site conditions and door sizes.
Highlight: concealed overhead design, adjustable spring power, independent dual-action valves, and retrofit-ready mounting clips. Order the CRL8760S concealed overhead door closer today to meet ADA requirementsβcontact CRL or your distributor for pricing and availability.
