CRL Foam Glazing Tape (SKU: 74418X14BL) is a closed-cell polyethylene foam sealant tape engineered for exterior glazing systems, windows, doors, storefronts, and operable joints. The aggressive acrylic adhesive positions the foam on curved or irregular surfaces with minimal pressure and adheres reliably to wood, vinyl, aluminum, and glass. Use as a primary or secondary glazing seal where glass repositioning is important before final setting.

Designed to be self-shimming—no separate shims or spacers required—the patented cellular foam construction resists weathering and water absorption for a long-lived seal. Joints sealed with the adhesive-on-one-side tape can be opened, repositioned, and reused without the sticky mess of traditional sealants. The non-adhesive face releases cleanly from most surfaces and recovers most of its original uncompressed thickness after use.

Installation notes: maintain a minimum of 30% compression for an effective moisture seal. In small lites, apply pressure directly when installing glazing stops; in most cases a compression wedge gasket is recommended. Apply with firm, uniform pressure to a clean, dry surface without stretching—the paper liner indicates stretching. Butt tape corners (do not overlap) and apply a thin bead of approved sealant at intersections after liner removal. Compatible with most sealing and glazing compounds.

Product Warning: CRL foam glazing tape must be compressed (minimum 15–30% depending on application) to maintain an effective seal. Use a compression wedge gasket where recommended.
