CRL GE® 1200 Black Waterproof Construction Silicone Sealant

GE® 1200 (SKU: SCS1203) is a one-part, acetic-cure construction silicone sealant that cures to a tough, flexible rubber via moisture cure. It is formulated for building and glazing applications where long-life weatherproofing and reliable joint movement accommodation are required.


Basic uses
Used to seal building joints and prevent penetration of rain, air, and noise. Ideal as a weatherproof sealant for curtainwall and mullion joints, glazing steel and aluminum windows, painted and plastic-coated wood windows, interior glass partitions, and skylights. Produces permanent watertight seals with glass, ceramic, steel, plastics, and painted surfaces; suitable for many maintenance and general-purpose exterior sealing tasks.

Limitations
Not intended for structural glazing or masonry. Do not use on concrete, marble, limestone, lead, zinc-coated (galvanized) metal, copper, mirrors, or surfaces with special reflective/protective coatings. Not for use where two-part silicones have been used, in totally confined spaces, or on surfaces that will be painted. For remedial work remove all old sealant.
