CRL Self-Adhesive Weatherstrip is a Santoprene® bulb seal engineered for door and window frame stops to reduce energy loss, block noise and dust infiltration, and maintain performance without cracking or crazing in extreme temperatures. The pressure-sensitive adhesive backing enables fast, tool-light installation—cut to size with scissors or a utility knife. Tested to ASTM E-283 and Warnock Hersey listed for use on labeled openings up to 90 minutes, this self-adhesive weatherstrip is ideal for retrofit and new-construction sealing projects.
NOTE: Occasionally the release paper on the two-sided tape can be difficult to peel off and the tape may lift from the Santoprene bulb. To avoid this, pinch the end of the bulb and roll it between your thumb and index finger to break the paper-to-tape seal. Then carefully peel the release paper while ensuring the tape remains adhered to the bulb.
