CRL Self-Adhesive Weatherstrip (SKU: SW250BR17) is a Santoprene® perimeter seal designed for the frame "stop" to reduce energy loss, block dust and cut down noise infiltration for doors and windows. The Santoprene bulb resists cracking or crazing in extreme cold or heat. The pressure-sensitive self-adhesive backing allows fast, tool-light installation—cut to size with scissors or a utility knife. Tested to ASTM E-283 and Warnock Hersey listed for use on labeled openings up to 90 minutes, suitable for commercial and residential retrofit projects.
NOTE: Occasionally the release paper on the two-sided tape can be difficult to peel off. If the tape begins to lift from the Santoprene bulb, pinch and roll the bulb between thumb and index finger to break the paper-to-tape seal, then carefully peel the release paper while ensuring the adhesive stays attached to the bulb.
