CRL's Premium Cap Rails are manufactured using a precision bump-forming process that delivers tighter tolerances, consistent radius, and reduced stress compared with roll-formed cap rails. Welds on both sides of the internal channel add strength and stability so the cap rail fits into welded corners without twist or discoloration—ideal for glass railing and architectural handrail applications.

All Premium Cap Rails are formed with precision tooling for uniform diameters and smooth hairline transitions at splices, corners, and end caps. The welded internal channel increases fabrication strength and stability. Sold in 120" (3.05 m) lengths; 168" (4.27 m) also available.

Installation notes:

• For 1/2" (12 mm) glass, use Cat. No. GR5PV cap rail vinyl and 95CBL Silicone.
• For 5/8" (16 mm) glass, use 95CBL Silicone and shims.
• For 3/4" (19 mm) glass, use 95CBL Silicone and shims (shims).
• Use 32629 Metal Contact Cement to achieve a secure, permanent bond at connections.
• Use the Connector Sleeves (No. GR16CSS) to join cap rails.
