CRL's Premium Cap Rails are manufactured using a precision bump-forming process that delivers tighter tolerances, consistent radius, and reduced stress compared with roll-formed cap rails. Welds on both sides of the internal channel add strength and stability, preventing twist or discoloration and ensuring reliable fit into welded corners. These attributes make our bump-formed stainless steel cap rail a premium choice for architectural and glass railing applications.

All CRL Premium Cap Rail are formed with precision tooling to maintain uniform diameters for smooth hairline transitions at splices, corners, and end caps. The welded internal channel increases strength for fabrication. Use connector sleeves to join Rails; sold in 168" (4.27 m) lengths, with cut-to-size service available.

Installation notes: When used with 1/2" (12 mm) glass, use Cat. No. GR5PV cap rail vinyl and 95CBL silicone to secure the glass. For 5/8" (16 mm) glass, secure with 95CBL silicone sealant and shims. For 3/4" (19 mm) glass, use 95CBL silicone and shims. Contact CRL Technical Sales for detailed guidance or a quote.

Use of our 32629 Metal Contact Cement is required to achieve a secure, permanent bond at all connections. Use the Connector Sleeves (Connector Sleeve No. GR16CSS) to connect Cap Rails.
