CRL's Premium Cap Rails are manufactured using a precision Bump-Forming process that delivers tighter tolerances, consistent radius, and reduced stress compared with roll-formed rails. Welds on both sides of the internal channel improve strength and stability so cap rails fit into welded corners without twist or discoloration—making these premium cap rails ideal for architectural railing, glass railing, and commercial storefront applications.

All CRL Premium Cap Rail is formed with precision tooling for uniform diameters and smooth hairline transitions at splices, corners, and end caps. The welded internal channel increases rigidity for fabrication. Sold in 168" (4.27 m) lengths; cut-to-size and custom lengths available. SKU: GR16PS14.

Installation & Sealant Recommendations:

• With 1/2" (12 mm) glass: use Cat. No. GR5PV cap rail vinyl and 95CBL silicone
• With 5/8" (16 mm) glass: use 95CBL silicone sealant and shims
• With 3/4" (19 mm) glass: use 95CBL silicone and shims
• Use 32629 Metal Contact Cement for permanent bonds
• Use Connector Sleeves (GR16CSS) to join cap rails
