This CRL Z-Series Square Type Flat Base Glass Clamp (SKU: Z906BS) secures 1/4" to 5/16" (6–8 mm) glass and features a flat base for mounting to square tubing or other flat surfaces. The clamp includes rubber gaskets and an optional steel pin for extra support — ideal for partitions, railings, windbreaks and exterior railing projects where a low-profile, secure glass clamp is needed.

For securing the Z-clamp to thin-wall tubing (less than 1/8"), use CRL’s ZB0LT socket head cap bolt and ZRNUT rivet-nut. Drill a 17/32” (13.5 mm) hole, then install the rivet-nut using the 34604 heavy-duty thread insert tool with the 34618 5/16” mandrel and nosepiece.

NOTE: A 1/2" (12 mm) hole is required when using the included steel pin for additional glass support.

Glass Fabrication:

• For 1/2" (12 mm) glass: 9/16" (14 mm) hole required if using steel pin (included).
